Job Title: Merchandiser

WS & Company Ltd. is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and negotiating prices and credit terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for the company
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Review store requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets company standards
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and products
Work Environment:

The Merchandiser will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
