Job Title: Caregiver - Special Care Facility

Bloomsdale Health Resources Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in a Special Care Facility. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Support residents with mobility and balance issues, including walking, standing, and transferring
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Engage residents in activities and programs that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a care-giving role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
