Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our horticultural team.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and report signs of insect or disease damage to ensure optimal crop health.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the production of hydroponic horticultural products.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
- Stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Meet deadlines and work overtime as required.
- Handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and use personal protective equipment such as gloves.
- Experience in horticulture or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work 48 hours per week in a permanent position.
- Fluency in English is required.
The work site environment is hot, and the job requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a team environment.
