Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Horticulturist to join our team at Green Leaf Acres Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops, including greenhouse tomatoes and vegetables.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of greenhouse crops to identify any signs of insect or disease damage
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as needed
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to ensure optimal growth
- Report any issues or concerns to management
- Assist with greenhouse cleaning and maintenance
- Experience working in a greenhouse or similar environment
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will work in a wet/damp and hot environment, with regular exposure to the outdoors. A non-smoking policy is in place.
