Job Title: Chief Technology Officer

The Role:

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to join our team in Fort McMurray. The successful candidate will have experience in the Oilfield Survey sector and a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Survey wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects throughout Western Canada
  • Will be willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days
  • Work will be outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Follow safety protocol
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations
Requirements:
  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE
  • Desire for excellence in all that you do
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity
  • A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics
  • Experience leading an oilfield survey crew
  • Experience performing legal surveys in the Alberta Township System
  • Experience working on both industrial construction sites and remote bush conditions
  • Experience with drones is an asset
