About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Olive Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address client needs
    • Administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy
  • Communication and Education
    • Clearly explain treatment plans and procedures to clients
    • Provide education on self-care techniques and strategies for maintaining optimal health
  • Record Keeping and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatments and progress
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Completion of a recognized massage therapy program
    • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
