Executive Chef

Responsibilities:
The Culinary Manager is responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals, driving culinary innovation, and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our residents. This includes:

- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve culinary operations, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and presentation
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including Executive Directors, National Directors, Regional Managers, and residents to translate culinary visions into actionable plans
- Recruiting, training, and overseeing staff to deliver an unparalleled culinary experience

Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

- Red Seal Certification, signifying advanced culinary expertise and proficiency
- Several years of experience as a professional chef, progressing through various kitchen roles
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a culinary setting, preferably in a unionized environment
- Post-secondary education in the field of culinary management or a related field
- Relevant certifications, such as Food Safety/Food Handler's Certification and Smart Serve Certification
