Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Shivraj Ghuman Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of residential projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Recruit and hire workers, and conduct related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Reliability, accuracy, and a client-focused approach.
Work Environment:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to outdoors, noisy conditions, and construction sites.

Security and Safety:

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week.
