Position Title: Pest Control Specialist

About the Role

Mainstreet Equity Corporation, a leading real estate investment company, is seeking a highly skilled Pest Control Specialist to join our team. As a Pest Control Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pest control services to our residential multi-family properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings and outside areas to identify infestation sources and determine the type of treatment required.
  • Assist in preparing and spraying chemical mixtures on infested areas using mechanical or electric tools.
  • Fumigate apartments and ensure that all work is documented and updated according to Company policy.
  • Advise managers and tenants on how to prevent pest infestations and post required notices for pest control treatments.
  • Assist the pest control team in moving furniture and other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Must possess a provincial pesticide applicator license.
  • Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior pest control experience in a residential multi-family environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of common pests and their behaviors.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and machinery for pest control tasks.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is an asset.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Must successfully complete a security clearance.
  • Physically fit.
