Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Java Developer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture and distributed systems.

As a Sr. Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java 17, Spring framework, and microservices architecture. They will also have experience with DevOps tools, such as TeamCity, Bitbucket, and Git, as well as real-time messaging middleware, such as Kafka and Solace.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure software meets quality, reliability, and performance standards
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure software meets testing and quality standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java
• Strong understanding of Java 17, Spring framework, and microservices architecture
• Experience with DevOps tools, such as TeamCity, Bitbucket, and Git
• Experience with real-time messaging middleware, such as Kafka and Solace
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred
