Job Title: Night Shift Support Worker

Etana Enriched Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Shift Support Worker to join our team. As a Night Shift Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with complex needs, including those with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and addiction challenges.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Support Worker to provide specialized support and assistance to individuals with complex needs. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work with mental health concerns, self-harming behaviors, and high-risk tendencies. Using a foundation of trauma-informed care, holistic approaches, and a positive attitude, you will use your highly developed behavioral intervention skills to provide intense support to implement intervention plans that will facilitate the optimal functioning of individuals with complex support needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support across multiple environments to promote personal growth, independence, and social inclusion.
  • Implement intervention plans to facilitate the optimal functioning of individuals with complex support needs.
  • Use trauma-informed care, holistic approaches, and a positive attitude to provide support and assistance.
  • Work with individuals with mental health concerns, self-harming behaviors, and high-risk tendencies.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor of Direct Supports Complex Needs to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in Complex Needs Support (preferred).
  • Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Required training includes Trauma Informed Care, Abuse Protocol/Protection of Persons in Care Act, Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA), Food Safe, and Social Role Valorization.
  • Training in support approaches for individuals with FASD is an asset.
