Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per annum (approximately $1,800 - $2,200 per week)

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on production equipment and ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning properly.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and experience working in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on production equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
  • Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits and panels
  • Design and build new electrical circuits and systems to improve the performance of equipment
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that electrical systems are integrated into the overall manufacturing process
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrician license
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role in Canada
  • Troubleshooting skills for Electrical & Mechanical problems
  • Understanding of electrical circuitry
  • Knowledge of PLCs, maintenance shop machinery, and electronics
  • Ability to work at heights, in heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health & Safety
