About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delicatessen Clerk to join our team at Vahagn's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and engage in conversations to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Merchandise Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, re-order stock as needed, and ensure a visually appealing store display.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and uses.
  • Sales and Promotions: Participate in sales and promotional activities to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Store Operations: Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, part-time position, working approximately 30-35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
