Job Title: Life and P&C Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Life and P&C Insurance Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients, educating them on our insurance products, and meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish personalized telephone contact with clients to create a climate of trust and sell insurance policies.
  • Sell all lines of insurance offered through Desjardins Insurance Nicole Fulcher Agency.
  • Meet minimum monthly sales goals and assist clients with billing, service, and claims.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful record of meeting sales goals/quotas.
  • Sales experience and customer experience.
  • Familiarity with all types of insurance plans.
  • Outgoing and driven for results.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and building relationships.
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Ability to attract new clients and retain current ones.
Qualifications:
  • College diploma in a related field (Commerce or Marketing).
  • 2 years of relevant sales and customer experience.
  • Previous insurance/sales experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales or service would be an asset.
  • Property and Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain).
  • LLQP Life License must have prior to successful hire - Or must achieve within 90 Days of hire date.
  • 2 Years of Previous Insurance Experience Preferred.
