We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team at Canadian Tire Fort McMurray.
Job SummaryThe Handyman will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities. This includes but is not limited to:
- Performing minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Performing safety and security checks
- Performing other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- Cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
This is a physically demanding role that requires working with minimal supervision. You will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
