We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Horticulturist to join our team at Scott Street Greenhouses Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our greenhouse crops. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a passion for horticulture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plant bulbs and seeds in a controlled environment
  • Pot and re-pot plants to ensure optimal growth
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to larger containers
  • Monitor and report signs of insect or disease damage to crops
  • Clean and maintain the greenhouse work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience in horticulture or a related field is an asset
Work Environment:

Our greenhouse facility is a non-smoking environment with a fast-paced work environment. You will be working in a controlled environment with a variety of crops and plants. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
