Job Summary

AGAT Laboratories is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Imaging Technicians to join our Core Sample Preparation Group on a seasonal contract basis. As an Imaging Technician, you will play a critical role in capturing and warehousing core samples, utilizing intermediate computer skills to report results using Excel software. We offer comprehensive training for this entry-level position, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma or Degree preferred.
  • High stamina and dexterity while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience working in warehouse/logistics roles is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift 20-35lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Mature work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry is considered an asset.
  • Reliable transportation to NE Calgary.
Working Conditions
  • Repetitive tasks and frequent heavy-lifting
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Work environment can be quite warm and protective/safety equipment must be worn.
