We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at Beedie. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team and ensuring the effective implementation of our HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and review candidate inventories.
- Employee Support: Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Arrange training for staff and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- HR Systems and Software: Utilize human resources software to manage employee data, track performance, and analyze HR metrics.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills.
