We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Program Development Manager to join our team at Saint Mary's University. As a key member of our Office of the Vice President, Academic and Research, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic development and quality assurance processes for academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and expertise in supporting the strategic development and quality assurance processes for academic programs.
- Manage the annual cycle of program reviews and provide support to academic departments and programs in areas of curriculum development and renewal.
- Support the university's strategic enrolment plan and strategic priorities in areas that promote discovery and innovation in a learning-centred environment.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field, with Educational Development preferred.
- Minimum seven to nine years of related experience, with several years in a university setting.
- Strong background in university-level teaching and learning, curriculum development, and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
- High-level empirical primary research skills, with the ability to conceive, develop, and report on experiential approaches to pedagogical development.
