We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Family Physician to join our team at Dalhousie University. As a key member of our Department of Family Medicine, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the academic development and administration of our department, while also providing high-quality patient care and clinical supervision to medical learners.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide ambulatory, team-based, and comprehensive academic family medicine care
- Participate in collaborative team-based practice and clinical teaching
- Contribute to the academic development and administration of the Dalhousie University Department of Family Medicine
- Lead clinical care and teaching with the Dalhousie Family Medicine (DFM) Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) service
- CFPC certification
- Current and ongoing membership of the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Eligibility to obtain a full license to practice in Nova Scotia
- Advanced academic competencies, such as relevant Masters degrees or other Certificates
