Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and the level of experience required.

Job Description

This role involves driving semi-trailer trucks across long distances, transporting goods safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and adjusting routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Driving in mountainous terrain while maintaining professionalism in customer service
  • Loading and unloading goods, inspecting vehicle condition and equipment
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, judgement, and reliability
