Retail Sales Associate Position

This position involves working as a sales associate in a retail environment. The role requires interacting with customers, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Job Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. The ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Process various payment types, including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items correctly and calculate total payments for goods or services sold.
  • Receive payment from customers and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Suggestive selling techniques are used to promote products and increase sales.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.

  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as accuracy is paramount when handling cash and processing transactions.

This is a permanent position with regular working hours of 35-40 per week. English language proficiency is required.
