Team Lead-AML Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead-AML to join our team in Toronto. As a Team Lead-AML, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of processes as per the client contract, conducting briefings and debriefings, and preparing performance reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure process execution as per client contract
  • Conduct briefings and debriefings to drive focus on key metrics
  • Prepare performance reports for the client
  • Interact with clients and prepare updates for the team
  • Review performance on key process metrics and conduct RCA to improve quality parameters
  • Prepare presentations on weekly and monthly performance data
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage and resolve issues
  • Organize team-building activities to promote engagement
  • Identify opportunities for automation and provide feedback to the automation team
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in AML or financial crime-related roles
  • Knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Team management and coaching skills
  • Good communication skills
