Job Title: Behaviour Analyst

St.Amant is seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Analyst to join our team. As a Behaviour Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Job Summary:

The Behaviour Analyst will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs for children with ASD. This includes conducting behavioural assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing training and support to families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ABA programs for children with ASD, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct behavioural assessments and provide training and support to families and caregivers
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
  • Participate in reviews and IEP team meetings to ensure a consistent, strong person-centered focus
  • Provide consultative and mediated services to clients through families, autism tutors, and autism senior tutors
  • Assist program managers in planning and implementing orientation and on-going training for autism senior tutors and autism tutors
  • Identify trends in services or changing client needs and recommend related improvement strategies
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology from a recognized university with specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Behavior Analyst Board certification (BACB) or application for certification within the first year of work
  • Fluency in the French language is an asset
  • Ability to identify high risk situations and respond appropriately
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to effectively provide education and training in public forums
  • Is positive, energetic, self-directed, and client-focused
  • Ability to serve as a model in a cooperative teamwork model, conflict resolution, and process improvement
  • Ability to work harmoniously and contribute to effective employee relationships
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients
  • Possess a valid Manitoba driver's license and a vehicle, and ability to travel throughout the province
  • Possesses the physical ability to perform the duties of the position
Working Conditions:

The Behaviour Analyst will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a diverse team of professionals. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to travel to rural communities throughout Manitoba.
