Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as Department Head - Telecommunications and Operational Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the department's human, financial, and material resources, and overseeing the progress of activities to achieve BBA's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate consulting and engineering services for network architecture, IT/OT solutions development, IT/OT infrastructure, server rooms, and operations rooms.
- Develop department members' technical skills through training, work methods, and recruitment of qualified personnel to achieve BBA's strategic objectives.
- Develop client relationships and prepare competitive proposals.
- Participate in projects in your field of expertise as a technical contributor or project manager.
- Monitor and assess employees under your supervision.
- Collaborate with internal teams to increase department efficiency and quality, and ensure a structured approach to project delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in telecommunications or operational system architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications and networking, or any combination of education and experience relevant to the position.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT/OT infrastructure design, as well as cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written.
