About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at KF Aerospace. As a Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing heavy maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a variety of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft, including airframe, engine, and system work
  • Conduct daily inspections and ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures
  • Source and obtain necessary technical information and documentation to support maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently
  • Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and processes
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are accurately documented and recorded

Requirements

  • Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) License or 7 years experience working on M2 aircraft
  • Unlicensed mechanics are expected to have the willingness and qualifications to obtain a Transport Canada license within 1 year
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willing to take initiative and work independently
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and understand KF Aerospace's organizational systems and workflow
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively train apprentices
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Intranet
  • Willing to pursue additional company training as required
