Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory records, contract compliance, and the onboarding of new ERP software. Additionally, they will coordinate cashflow and AR/AP functions, manage administrative staff, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transition of new manufacturing and accounting software from existing ERP software
  • Responsible for Inventory accuracy and tracking of COGS, with a focus to bring costs down
  • Assessing financial information for internal use, including daily bank balance snapshots, cashflow, and purchasing approvals
  • Provide oversight to AP and AR, including collections
  • Execute payments through bank wires and PayPal; setting up accounts and client communication
  • Management of administrative staff
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and reports as needed
  • Provide oversight to IT contractor and make recommendations for infrastructure improvement
  • Monitoring and engaging in Artist contracts and royalty payments in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills in accounting areas
  • Business acumen with a minimum of 5 years of a proven track record
  • Education in accounting/business (CPA not required)
  • Emphasis on timeliness and accuracy
  • Articulate and cordial correspondence skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Must have a PR or Canadian Citizenship
  • The Ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing company
  • ERP software experience
