About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Specialist to join our team at Next Level Group, a leading industrial construction contractor specializing in custom fabrication, mechanical, and electrical work. With over 56 years of experience, our family-owned and operated business has established itself as a trusted partner in the industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Electrician to contribute to our continued success. As an Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily checks and diagnostics on equipment, repairing, installing, and testing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily checks and diagnostics on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Repair, install, and test electrical systems, including transformers, regulators, motors, generators, and electrical control systems.
  • Design and install control panels and circuit power distribution systems.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including the Canadian Electrical Code.
  • Respond to emergencies and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Bend conduit and perform other related tasks as required.
  • Travel with our crew to job sites around South Western Ontario, typically within a 0.5-2 hour radius.
Requirements
  • 309A Electrician - Construction & Maintenance trade certification.
  • Registration with Skilled Trades Ontario.
  • Three to five years of experience in an industrial environment as an Electrician, preferably in the industrial construction industry.
  • Availability to work shifts, including overtime.
  • Efficient and organized with a collaborative spirit and initiative.
  • Analytical, conscientious, and flexible with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to provide some of your own tools.
