About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at ORION PLASTICS INC. as a Production Line Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic compounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve issues with equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Formulation and Mixing: Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for injection molding processes.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 44 hours per week.
