Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at ORION PLASTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extruding machines to produce high-quality plastic compounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet company standards.
  • Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die.
  • Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes.
  • Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for injection moulding processes.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fast-paced environment.
