Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HACCP Coordinator to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for maintaining our HACCP system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of food safety throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HACCP plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of food safety protocols
  • Provide training and support to employees on HACCP principles and procedures
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to HACCP activities
  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with statistical process control techniques
  • Knowledge of GMP and quality management systems
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
