Job Title: HACCP Coordinator

McCain Foods is seeking a highly skilled HACCP Coordinator to join our team in Coaldale, Alberta. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the HACCP system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of food safety within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the HACCP plan, ensuring it is aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with HACCP and quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate food safety risks.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on HACCP and food safety principles.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including HACCP records, quality manuals, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food science, microbiology, or related field preferred.
