About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver with long haul experience to join our team at 12113147 Canada Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, as well as receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Cargo Management: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Will train, with a focus on long-haul truck driving experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 55 hours per week.
