Risk Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Control Specialist to join our team at Aon Hewitt. As a Risk Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting facility risk control surveys, developing client loss estimates, and preparing insurance underwriting information reports.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct facility risk control surveys to identify potential hazards and risks
- Develop client loss estimates on a site-specific and portfolio basis to assist with insurance program designs
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments at client sites
- Prepare insurance underwriting information reports to support risk management decisions
- Evaluate and respond to insurance company recommendations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong technical background, preferably an engineering degree or equivalent
- At least 10 years of working experience in a related industry
- 5 years of experience as an Engineer within commercial property and casualty risk
- Familiarity with NFPA and/or FMG Datasheets with regards to fire protection
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills in English and French
- A sound understanding of digitalization and data analytics fundamentals
- The ability to analyze technical problems and deliver cost-effective solutions
- A valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
