Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our Esso Beckers team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Assign sales workers to duties to optimize customer service and sales performance.
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient operation of the store.
    • Sell merchandise to customers, promoting products and services to drive sales growth.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels, including ordering merchandise as needed.
    • Authorize return of merchandise to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Establish work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Financial Management
    • Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accurate financial records.
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management.
  • Permanent employment contract.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to relocate for this position.
  • Previous experience in retail management is required.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum
