Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Horticultural Project Manager to join our team at Jomha Landscaping & Construction. The successful candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and landscape management, with the ability to plan, manage, and coordinate complex landscaping projects.

About the Role

The Horticultural Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of various landscaping projects. This will include planning and coordinating the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, preparing contracts and tenders, and applying various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting with treatment solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes.
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Prepare contracts and tenders for clients, ensuring that all necessary details are included.
  • Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting with treatment solutions to maintain healthy and thriving plants.
  • Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • A strong understanding of horticulture and landscape management principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (if required).
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
