Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled dump truck driver to join our team at Sandco Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • AZ class license and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required
