The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing thorough analysis and articulation of risk or finance tech model data requirements, identifying specific data quality issues, and ensuring effective delivery of data to users using standard tools.
We are looking for professionals who can analyze internal and external regulations (credit risk) and prepare functional documentation on this basis. Experience working with large amounts of data, including facts, figures, and number crunching, is essential.
This role involves:
- Performing thorough analysis and articulation of risk or finance tech model data requirements.
- Identification and understanding of specific data quality issues to ensure effective delivery of data to users using standard tools.
- Providing analysis of internal and external regulations (credit risk) and preparation of functional documentation on this basis.
- Working with large amounts of data, including facts, figures, and number crunching.
The estimated salary for this role is around $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
A strong understanding of credit risk, finance technology, and data analysis is required for this position. Relevant skills and qualifications include:
- Credit risk experience.
- Star schema basics.
- OLAP DB understanding.
- Concepts of data modeling.
- SQL skills and ability to write/understand complex SQL.
- Ability to perform complex data exploration/profiling tasks.
- Experience working with different database systems.
In addition, a good understanding of data flow, data modeling, and database applications, as well as working knowledge of databases like Oracle and Netezza, is beneficial.
Bonus points for having conceptual knowledge of ETL and data warehousing, as well as basic knowledge of Java.
