Senior IT VMO Analyst Duration:
6-Month Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Toronto, ON / Hybrid ( 3 Days on-site)

Our client is seeking a Senior IT VMO Analyst to join their team on a 6-month maternity leave coverage contract. Reporting to the Director, IT VMO , you will play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, driving performance improvements, and supporting strategic objectives.

In this role, you will facilitate vendor scorecards, present executive dashboards, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for IT vendor relationships. You’ll also develop and manage SLAs/KPIs, analyze contracts, and support ServiceNow VMO module setup. As an SOW expert, you will ensure that deliverables are clearly defined and aligned with organizational goals, working closely with IT and Legal teams to communicate the VMO value proposition effectively.

Facilitate internal and external vendor scorecards and present executive dashboards/reports.
Support the development and management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Conduct vendor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with presentations and data analysis.
Serve as the lead SME for IT vendor relationships.
Analyze commercial terms, pricing structures, and spend data to identify opportunities and enhance vendor performance.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of the VMO module within ServiceNow.
Support the Vendor Risk Framework by providing data analysis for vendor selection, onboarding, and assessments.
Research competitive supplier landscapes to support contract negotiations and procurement efforts.

5+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
~ Expertise in vendor management and contract provisions.
~ Strong understanding of IT procurement, vendor management, and project management.
~ Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and competitive price analysis.
~ Skilled in negotiation and conflict management, ensuring adherence to contract terms and service delivery standards.
~ Familiarity with supplier performance scorecards and reporting standards.
~ Knowledge of current technologies such as SaaS, Cloud, and Outsourcing.
