Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at DOSANJH DEVELOPMENT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting and resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Operate knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Commercial and residential work settings
  • Ability to work in various locations
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
