Job Title: Flooring Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at Alberta Inc.

Job Summary:

The Flooring Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different flooring materials and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field
  • Or equivalent experience
Work Environment:

The Flooring Installation Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. The work environment will be dusty, and the candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
