Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare in Ontario and across Canada.
This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care facilities, ensuring their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- To provide evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care to residents.
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage medication safely and effectively, adhering to protocols and guidelines.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the diverse needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Strong computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of resident rights and dignity.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including the Long Term Care Act and the Health Disciplines Act.
- Medical clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
