Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plant Process Engineer to join our team at Svante. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, commissioning, testing, and optimizing carbon capture gas processing plants for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design carbon capture gas processing plants for industrial applications
  • Support early engagements and technical discussions with potential customers
  • Responsible for all project-related basic process engineering deliverables
  • Design and optimize carbon capture systems
  • Perform process hazard and operability analysis (HAZOP) and assess safety and environmental impact

Requirements:

  • Minimum years of experience in development, design, and operations of chemical processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and process simulation software (Hysys and Aspen)
  • Strong technical background with process knowledge of gas processing and steam generation systems

Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience working with solvent-based CO capture plants using Selective Chemical Absorption Solvents and Thermal Kinetic Optimization process
  • Strong technical background with process knowledge of CO capture technologies
