Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Verification Engineer to join our team at Infinera. As a key member of our ASIC verification team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification infrastructure, test plans, and self-checking tests for complex digital ASICs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of verification infrastructure and tools
  • Design and implement System Verilog/UVM-based protocol/traffic generators/checkers
  • Develop test plans based on functional requirements and applicable standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful verification of complex ASICs
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (desired), Bachelor's degree in CS/EE (required)
  • 8+ years of experience in ASIC verification, with a focus on complex digital ASICs
  • Expertise in System Verilog, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and UVM methodology
  • Intimate knowledge of assertions, functional coverage, and code coverage tools
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a geographically diverse team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of DSP and/or FEC
