Job Title: Customer Service Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Cashier at Canadian Tire - Gas+.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Cashier will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, processing transactions, handling cash, credit card payments, and counting change.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area, stock shelves, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and facing.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
