Job Title: Customer Service Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Cashier at Canadian Tire - Gas+.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Cashier will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, processing transactions, handling cash, credit card payments, and cheques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the gas bar and surrounding areas.
  • Stock shelves, clean the counter area, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Reliability, dependability, and maturity.
Work Environment:

The Customer Service Cashier will work in a fast-paced gas bar environment, interacting with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Term:

Temporary position.

Hours:

24 to 40 hours per week.
