Hotel General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott Barrie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and improve hotel performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of hotel staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Monitor and control hotel expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing revenue.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the hotel in a professional manner, building relationships with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel management role, preferably in a similar size and type of hotel.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams, driving business growth, and improving hotel performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
