Hotel Managing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on hotel performance and areas for improvement
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist guests with special needs and ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure hotel operations run smoothly
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
