The YMCA of Simcoe-Muskoka is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and safe condition at all times.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform minor repairs as required.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless facility operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
