Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of equipment.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that cleaning staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a cleaning or facilities management environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
